/If you have been fishing at Izaak Walton or the St. Joseph River lately, you have noticed a little critter attached to some of the fish. While some may think this is a Sea Lamprey, a damaging invasive species, they are actually Chestnut Lampreys. Chestnut Lampreys are usually harmless to the fish and actually sign that the waters are thriving!
