March Dinner Program “Orchids of Indiana”

We welcome Mr. Scott Namestnik to the IKES on Wednesday, March 15th. Scott is a driving force in preserving habitat and wildflower identification. He is the botanist at the Indiana Natural Heritage Data Center, which is part of the Indiana DNR-Division of Nature Preserves.

Free Tree Seedlings in April

We have been giving away tree seedlings for over 7 decades at the IKES! We have 6 species to choose from this year. NOW is the time to determine where you are going to plant them and start getting your holes dug. The dinner and tree giveaway is Wednesday, April 19th.

Fly Tying Class for Beginners Offered

We are offering a beginners fly tying class at the IKES! The class will take place on Saturday, April 22nd at the lodge.

Help keep our IKES for future generations to enjoy! Your help is needed for our annual fundraiser to help offset lodge repair and maintenance costs. Cost is $10 and includes a sausage sandwich. The event centers around silent auction items and guessing games.

How you can help: Donate silent auction items, make a tax-exempt monetary donation, and COME OUT and have FUN on the 4th! We will have the lodge open on Thursday, Nov 3rd from 6-7 pm for you to drop off auction items, or bring them on the 4th. All are welcome, bring guests!
